Acting
Acting in this movie was pretty decent which was needed by the script. The central character “Cole” was played Zac Efron and he played the role at his 100% potential. Wes Bently had to play a character of a alcoholic EDM star which he did excellently.

Direction
Direction could have been better. Pretty usual camera angles. However shots about Cole high on drugs looked real and one could relate him/herself.
We have seen much greater and appreciate able work in past.

Dialogues
Lines were nicely written.
Key dialogues were been highlighted perfectly.

Screenplay
Execution of the movie was done poorly .Screenplay was the only part where the movie lacked its potential.
Some scenes were just a drag.
But the climax was awesome.

Editing
There is not much to talk about editing here. There was not much scope of showing editing skills here.

Story
The movie revolves around a DJ artist trying to make it big. He is in search of that “one track” that would turn his life around. Everyday experiences and his relationship with his friends play a vital role for him achieving that track.
Along with this journey a couple of vaguely related stories are incorporated.
There are few high points in the movie except those the graph of the movie is pretty much constant.

Music
EDM fans are going to love this movie!
Awesome and original EDM tracks make this movie worth watching.

Overall
The movie in terms of acting and writing is a job done good.
But I would call it a "one time watch movie".

Verdict
Despite the movie got thrashed by critics in the states , I as a fan of EDM loved the movie.
Rating by me would be 3/5 .
