My dream 24K home with Porcelanosa
Building a home is surely one of the
most complicated as well as important jobs of life.
And only few get what they had in their
mind.
This job is made much simpler for us
by http://www.24kliving.com/
and http://www.porcelanosa.com/gb/
24k living provides us with amazing apartments from
1bhk to 4bhk at amazing rates and aminities.
Porcelanosa provides with the furnishing
of the flats.
From flooring to the complete furniture
u get it all here.
I always had a dream that my house would be one like we see in Hollywood movies…with beautiful textures on the walls and
glossy finish on furniture but thought it is not possible to get such designs .
I was wrong though. Porcelanosa’s
products reminds me of the movie Titanic..
Everyone remembers the first class
lounge and the hotel shown in the movie!
Yeah its that great.
And talking about the options, there are
more options than you can imagine of.
Porcelanosa gave me a choice of
selecting from their products and build my dream home.
When I visited their website I literally
got Goosebumps ! The products available there just reminded of a house in some
Hollywood movie. Yes that elegant and sophisticated!
My selection from the website…
1.Tiles
This
includes all the sections as of the walls, floor, textures etc.
The wooden
finish looks amazing!
2. Kitchen
According to me kitchen
should be as simple as possible but with the same time it should have a classic
finish!
3.Bathroom
I am not a bathtub
guy…I need a shower that’s for sure! If I have this bathroom in my house I
would never get out of my house! :P
Awesome shower !
This will make me forget about all my tension and
reduce my stress for sure!
4. Sanitary
Sanitary-ware is important for me.
Although I don’t have many specifics about it, it’s still important. Essence-C
is perfect according to me. Nothing too fancy but you can definitely marvel at
the graceful design .
5. The
wardrobe
Wardrobe I think is more of a necessity than just a
luxury item.
I need a spacious wardrobe looks do matter a bit
though.
6.The closet
And lastly this closet… My first reaction after
seeing was “OMG!” .It is so amazing!
Everyone wants a closet where you can walk around and try on your cool stuff and you get a hidding spot from everyone when you want to spend some alone time:P
So this
completes my entire selection. It isn't everything but all the needs which I
care for.
I know its not
so easy to achieve this dream so fast but its not so bad to dream big!
This post has been written as a part of Indi-Happy hours on Indiblooger in association with Porcelanosa

The Domex Toilet Academy
In last two centuries we as Indians have reached not
only to the Moon but also Mars and on other hand we still have villages here
with no electricity, no water facilities ,poor health care etc.
One of the major issues in India today is
sanitation.
During independence only 3% of total houses in India
had private toilets in their houses. Today we have progressed a lot in terms of
infrastructure development but there are many villages which do not have
toilets and neither the people there are educated enough to understand the importance
of a proper sanitation.
Sanitation across India is very poor with the
national average for sanitation cover at 38%. Although the Indian Government
has used – and continues to use – its tax resources to help alleviate this
situation (and puts a large sum every year towards better drinking water supply
and household sanitation) on the ground the population clings to age old
cultures.
This is mainly due to a lack of understanding about
the need for hygiene and sanitation and a general lack of awareness about the
best way to improve their position and as a result, enjoy better health.
Outside assistance has to be targeted. It must complement and support what the
National and State Governments are doing. Introducing benchmark standards, new
but appropriate technology and providing capacity building for the many NGOs
that are helping to implement the government programs are but a few of the ways
to help.
Why is Total Sanitation a must ?
- · Causes most deaths due to gastro-intestinal diseases, jaundice, worms etc.
- · Expenditure on medical aid cuts the poor man’s pocket
- · Education suffers because children cannot attend school
- · Adolescent girls & women do not have privacy & dignity
- · Sanitation affects all Millennium Development Goals
- · Sanitation is Multildimensional
- · Multiple Impacts and Determinants
- · Poor Sanitation Impacts Health particularly of Women and Children Diarrheal diseases resulting from poor sanitation and hygiene kill more than 400,000 persons in India every year.
- · Poor Sanitation Impacts learning ability - Study in Alwar, Rajasthan showed school toilets increased enrollment by 11%
- · Poor Sanitation Impacts Nutrition
- · Poor Sanitation Impacts Environmental Pollution

There is more to India than you think!
When we try to recall our contribution to the world the first thing that pops right onto our mind is "0".
"Yeah! We Indians Discovered 0".
Don’t you think it is about time to get passed "The Ultimate 0"?
Let us start talking about the most recent achievement that India has proudly gained by the hard work and determination of the people at IISRO.
Yes indeed, I am talking about the Mars Orbit Mission (MOM).
After the satellite reached the destined orbit many facts came up and went viral on various SNSs and
Communication media like it was the cheapest mission that cost only 450crore INR, it was cheaper then what Hollywood took to make a film about space, it’s per km cost was less than what an auto rickshaw costs in India etc.
But the fact that mattered that is “how was the mission accomplished?” was never known.
I tried to understand the launch mechanism of the satellite but a lot of things went just above my head.
However all that I could understand is at NASA, they used a high thrust launcher which cost them a lot more money whereas ISSRO decided they would use some extra law of physics or some extra equipment together with their old launcher so as to lower the cost of the mission.
And guess what ISSRO used?
We used “gravity”.
What can be cheaper than free?
Now you would be thinking how can we use gravity to escape the pull of gravity?
But here is what happened…
We used Earth’s gravity to gain velocity, Sun’s gravity to maintain the projectile and Mars’ gravity to enter it orbit!

I used to think all the multi-national companies would get their data feeding and other clerical work done by Indians but then I read that more than 750 companies have setup their “Research and development cells” in India..
The core center of their innovation is INDIA!
The chiefs of Google and IBM are Indians, not from Indian Origin but Pure Indians, who went through the same education system that we did.
There are 75000 American employees and 150000 Indian employees in IBM
“Jan Gan Man” - The national anthem of India was selected as the best anthem across the globe.
We have one the seven wonders of the world here in India!
So next time you say India it is not just the “0”,not just the Bollywood, not just the cricket team…..
There is certainly more to India than you think!
Similarly Lufthansa is more Indian than you think!

Kya aap apne Bacche ko deti hai poshtic aahar?
The title of this page is from a very famous add of some milk suppliment which i dont remember.
I am sharing a very sad story of a 2 and a half years old of my neighbour.
my neighbor has 2 kids both are of roughly same age.
I think one is 4 and other is 2 years old.
It was a Monday morning their parents are both working so they leave them to a baby sitter early morning.
The younger one had just learnt to open the door.(Yes he is so young.)
The baby sitter went into the kitchen for some work as she claims leaving the infants alone in the hall.
The younger one went inside the bathroom opening its door and sat inside a bucket as always so as to bath.
Accidentally someone had left the geyser on (I dont know who) .The geyser was on for more than 1 hour.
Now he turned the tap open. The hot boiling water fell directly on his tiny fragile body and all he could do is scream.
The sitter heard his scream almost after 20 seconds and rush into the bathroom.
The older one (I dont know how he got the idea at this young age) barged into my apartment for help.
We immideatly called an ambulance and then called their mother.
At the hospital she reached in tears and all worried about her child.
The doctor concluded by saying his 80% of the body is burnt and it will take a months period to recover that too if he is in intensive care.
Now that whole month i saw her at hime holding the kid in her hand and never leaving him away from her sight.
She also had to quit her job for the same.
I could see the heat faced by the child was getting transferred to her .
More the pain he felt more she wept and fell ill.
She had fever rising up and falling down periodically..
You must be thinking where is the father in all this.He too was worried (obviously) but according to me,the pain a mother goes through when her child is hurt cant be compared to any pain.
I could even listen to the child screaming and shouting for days and could just imagine the pain he is going through.
(I cant display the images because it would be a violation to their privacy but I was shocked seeing them .I literally got froze for 5 seconds or so. )
Children are the joy of the family.
If they are sick no one in the family can enjoy anything in their life.
